#Dj Dimples hiphop dj taking the genre by storm

This young gentleman in his 20’s always had the love for music. The idea of Djing came as he attended Joburg events such as Reality and 115. This led to him buying his own equipment in 2003 and by 2004 he had joined the Wits Dj Society. Cramped in their own minute private room, they would often get together and practice to perfect their skills. Although hip- hop was not big in the Joburg party scene at the time, Dimplez continued playing this genre and within a few months he found himself playing for huge crowds of thousands of people.
Adamant about seeing his dream through, he landed a slot on an urban music stationMetro fm. The slot, presented by T’bo Touch, saw the likes of Dj Milkshake coming to showcase their talent. Dimplez played on a Gauteng youth station Yfm every Saturday night at 19’30, on a show called “Double Up”. He is now a part of a super dj group called MVD, which has a focus of growing hip hop, and targeting corporate using the brand. www.mvdthebest.blogspot.com
His career has led to him to travel throughout the country playing at different events.Dimplez has also played in most clubs in Johannesburg and major corporate events, which include “The Apprentice S.A Finale”, “Blacks Only Comedy”, Miller Rock The Boat and the list goes on. Earning his name as one of the top hip-hop djs, Dimplez has played alongside the like sDj Drama, Dj Fresh, Dj Cleo, Dj Oskido, Dj S’bu, C-live, Milkshake, Naked Dj, and Dj Kenzhero.
But playing in clubs and corporate events is not the only thing the Soweto born man does. In addition to spinning the decks, Dimplez is a shareholder in “Landmynz entertainment”.  The company aims to bring street hip hop to people that know what the culture is all about. Through the company a number of albums have been released including “Perigo Minas Volume 2” currently out in stores. Dimplez says their music has reached people worldwide and touched the hearts of a people in Soweto.
